The problem

The 10–20 hours a week nobody puts in the budget

Two decades of working across industry, defence, education and marketing taught us the same lesson everywhere: the work that eats a team's week is rarely the work that grows the business. It's the copy-pasting in between.

Moving data between tools

Quotes retyped into invoices, spreadsheets rebuilt every Monday, the same client detail entered in four systems. Nobody owns it, so everyone does it.

≈ 6–10 h / week / person

Answering the same 20 questions

Inbound email, quote requests, support tickets, supplier follow-ups. The answers already exist somewhere — just not where the person asking can reach them.

≈ 4–8 h / week / person

Content and reporting on repeat

Monthly reports assembled by hand, product descriptions written one at a time, the same campaign rebuilt for a fifth market. Volume work that never gets faster.

≈ 5–12 h / week / team

Services

Three ways in. All of them end with something running.

Fixed scope, fixed price, no retainer you can't exit. If AI isn't the right answer for your problem, you'll hear it in the first call and we both save a week.

Engineering standards

Systems with AI inside, built like production software

An automation that saves ten hours a week becomes infrastructure the day it ships. Every workflow, data pipeline and AI agent we deliver is engineered to carry that weight — versioned, monitored, and designed to fail safely instead of silently.

Everything is versioned

Workflows, prompts and pipeline code live in version control. Every change is traceable, reviewable and reversible in minutes — the prompts included.

Watchdogs on every run

Each execution is logged and monitored. If a job fails, stalls or starts drifting, an alert fires — we know before your customers notice.

Failsafes by default

Timeouts, retries and circuit breakers around every external call. When a service goes down, work is queued and retried — not lost.

AI output is never trusted blindly

Model responses are validated against schemas and thresholds before they touch your data. Anything uncertain routes to a human, not straight through.

Updates without surprises

Model and API versions are pinned. Upgrades are tested against your real cases before rollout — nothing changes in production silently.

Documented for the day we're gone

Runbooks, architecture notes and recovery procedures ship with every build. Your team can operate, audit and extend the system without calling us.

How we engage

Six commitments we put in writing

Consulting has a reputation problem for good reasons. These are the terms that remove the usual risks, and they're in every contract we sign.

Fixed scope, fixed price

Agreed in writing before work starts. No hourly drift, no surprise change requests.

No lock-in

We build on tools you already own. We resell no licences and take no vendor commission.

You own the output

Automations, prompts and documentation transfer to you in full on final payment.

Data protection by design

Minimum data, documented processors, GDPR-aligned. Data processing agreement on request.

Invoiced in USD or EUR

A US entity with European operations, so billing works either side of the Atlantic.

We say no

Roughly one enquiry in three doesn't need us. You'll be told early, not billed for it.

Process

Four steps. You know where you stand after the first one.

The company

Twenty years of watching good people do robot work

ClicAuto is the trading name of The U-Shaped House LLC, a US-registered company operating from Europe. We work with small and mid-sized businesses that have real volume, real deadlines and no in-house AI team.

Our consultants have spent two decades working internationally — across industry, defence, education and marketing, in Europe, Africa and Asia. The pattern was identical everywhere: capable teams spending their week on tasks a machine handles in minutes, and nobody with the time to fix it.

We don't sell AI as a revolution, because it isn't one. It's a set of tools that are very good at a narrow band of work and useless outside it. Knowing where that line sits is the whole value.

  • Systems, not slide decks. You get something that runs on Monday, not a strategy PDF.
  • Anti-hype by default. If a spreadsheet and one rule solve it, that's what we'll build.
  • Small on purpose. A senior consultant on your project, not a pyramid of juniors.

Questions

The things people ask before booking

What does ClicAuto actually do?

We find the repetitive work inside a business, decide which parts AI and automation can genuinely take over, then build and hand over those systems. In practice: workflow audits, automations connected to the tools you already own, custom Python where no-code hits its ceiling, and training so the team keeps using what was built.

How much does an engagement cost?

Audits start at $297 for the 48-hour AI Fit Audit and $597 for the AI + Search Deep Audit. Implementation starts at $997 and is quoted on fixed scope before any work begins. Agency white-label delivery is $50–75 per hour. All prices exclude any applicable taxes.

How long before we see results?

An audit lands in 48 hours to 5 days depending on scope. Implementation projects typically run one to two weeks and end with something running in production, not a prototype. Dates are agreed before the engagement starts.

What happens when one of your automations breaks?

It alerts us before it interrupts you. Everything we ship is version-controlled, monitored by watchdogs on every run, and wrapped in failsafes — timeouts, retries, queues — so a failing service degrades gracefully instead of losing work.

During the support window we fix issues ourselves. After handover, your team has the runbooks and monitoring to do the same. The full detail is in our engineering standards.

Do we have to replace our current tools?

No. We build on the stack you already pay for. We don't resell software licences and earn no vendor commission, so there's no incentive to move you onto a platform. If a tool you own can do the job, that's the recommendation you'll get.

What happens to our data?

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics — there is nothing to consent to. In client engagements we work on the minimum data needed, document which third-party AI services process what, and sign a data processing agreement on request.

Nothing is used to train external models without explicit written agreement. Full detail is in our privacy policy.

What if AI isn't the right answer for us?

Then we say so, usually within the first fifteen minutes. Roughly one enquiry in three doesn't need us — the problem is a process, a missing document or a spreadsheet away from being solved. Telling you that costs us a sale and saves you a quarter.

Who owns what you build?

You do, in full, once the engagement is paid. Automations, prompts and documentation transfer to the client. We keep no hidden dependency and no kill switch. The detail is in our terms of service.

Which countries do you work with?

We're a US-registered company operating from Europe on Central European Time, which overlaps the UK, the EU and US East Coast mornings. We work in English and French, and invoice in USD or EUR.
